Short presentation of your organisation (key activities, experience):
Panorama Kultur is active in the branch of promotion and popularization of European cultures, especially cultures of the Central Eastern Europe – in this, what is common for all of us and in this, what we are different in. We are aiming to show the close elements between the nations and communities and also the diversity of cultures and traditions.

Action 2, measure 3 - Support for projects initiated by civil society organisations

Short description of the project, including its aims:
Panorama of Cultures - European cultural odyssey.
Reconstruction and promotion of the cultural web-magazine “Less Known Europe”
The main aim of the project is organizing, maintaining and structuring reflection on
the cultural diversity of Europe by:
- Web magazine and radio program describing "less known" cultural phenomena present in Europe and consisting of a common European identity
- Panel discussion / seminar on "Less Known Europe"
- Themes of a week presenting phenomena that make up the cultural diversity of Europe.
The aim of the project is increasing interest in the cultures of the EU, promoting European values (equality of all countries’ cultures) and promoting thorough knowledge of the language, culture and geography of the country in the context of cultural tourism. Each country will be presented through the eyes of "native" (inhabitant of the country), "immigrant" (a person who lives in the country last few years) and “tourist” (a person who is the first time in a given place).
All materials will be translated into several European languages.
We expect, that this project will contribute to the Integration of EU countries and to the promotion of the knowledge of the different European cultures and thanks to that will strengthen the European values and counteract the negative stereotypes. Apart from the possibility of publication on the website, we are going to create a platform for sharing ideas and experience on issues most relevant for our interests. Using the interactive thematic forums and opening to the incoming correspondence from the outside mailing list we want to allow the open discussion.
Role of the partner organisation in the project:
- to assist in the recruitment of employees / volunteers and project promotion.
- gathering information concerning the region, presentation of cultural phenomena characteristic of the region where the partner acts,
- presentation his country during the seminar,
Comments from the applicant:
We don’t expect financial contribution from the partner organisation.
